adidas Football - Military Appreciation Product Photography

Over the past year, I've had the chance to partner with adidas Women's and create some custom calligraphy artwork for their Facebook page.

This past month I was given the opportunity to photograph some of the 2016 adidas Football cleats and sneakers. Paying tribute to the U.S. Navy SEALs, the cleats were inspired by the footwear and accessories worn by the elite forces of the U.S. military. The images I captured were used on the adidas Football social channels and in their corporate press release.

Although it was my first time capturing product photography, I had a great time and the images turned out great! Make sure you check out the photos below and learn more about the cleats HERE, or check out the adidas Football Twitter and Instagram page to see my work.

A Family Photoshoot Surprise

About a couple months before their photoshoot, the Jim Family contacted me for family photos. The Jim Family are basically family to me since I've known them my whole life, so of course I said yes in a heartbeat. As the day got closer, I was in contact with the mom on details. A little curious, I was wondering if something else was going on that day. I bluntly asked if the daughter was getting engaged that same day and sure enough, I was correct! After knowing this information, I worked with both her boyfriend and her mom to create the best scenario so he could pop the question. The day came and we started off with an hour of family portraits all throughout the Pearl District in Portland, Oregon. Thankfully the rain held off and it ended up being the perfect opportunity for her boyfriend to get on one knee and pop the question. She we thoroughly surprised! It was such an honor to be apart of the day and see the events unfold. Congrats to Kevin and Candace!

The Loud Family

With a chance of rain in the forecast, it didn't stop the Loud Family from utilizing the weekend for a family photoshoot.  We lucked out and got a dry day along with fog. It made for the perfect fall setting for this shoot.
